2. Martha G. Papadopoulou, Life and work of doctor Georgios Noulis (1849-1915) and his special contribution to knee surgery. Ioannina 1999, GSA – Historical Archive of Epirus. Dr. Georgios Noulis, first to describe the noninvasive clinical diagnostic test for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries of the knee, widely known as the Noulis – Lachmann test, was a descendant of the Filitis family. His studies were subsidized by the Dositheos Filitis grant.
