Each file after its entry in the Import Book is placed in the file category to which it belongs and is then indexed and indexed in chronological order.
According to the system followed in the General State Archives, each file, after being entered in the Importation Book, is placed in the group of files to which it belongs (Special Index). The grouping is done by means of cards and is theoretical rather than physical.
